The Rossland Summit School staff have taken time to reflect on our collective values, roles and responsibilities and have captured these reflections in the following Diversity and Inclusion Values Statement:
The Rossland Summit School staff strive to foster a safe, accepting, and inclusive environment that supports race, gender identity, sexual orientation, family dynamic, and religious diversity. Each child has the right to see themselves reflected in the curriculum as outlined by the BC Ministry of Education; as educators and facilitators at RSS, we fully accept this responsibility to incorporate a diverse and inclusive pedagogy. We are committed to providing a community in which every student and staff member feels respected and feels safe to be themselves.
